Privacy notice for the request form

This notice covers one thing: the request form on computescan.ai. It explains what we collect when you send a request, why, and how to have it deleted.

What we collect

• What you type: your work email, your company if you give it, the kind of job (fine-tuning or batch inference), the model, a rough size, when you need it, and any notes.
• An approximate country, which our host derives from your connection's IP address. We put the country in the email, not the IP address.
• Your IP address, briefly: when you send a request, the form holds it in memory to limit repeated requests from one address. It is not written to our logs or put in the email. It is dropped at the first form request the server handles after an hour has passed, or when the server stops, whichever comes first. The form's anti-spam check is also tied to your address through a one-way keyed hash; that check stays in your browser and is not stored by us.

The page sets no cookies of its own and loads no advertising or analytics trackers. Do not put your dataset or other confidential material in the form.

Why

We use what you send only to answer your request: to price the job and reply to you by email. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.

Who handles it

• Vercel hosts this site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details to serve the page.
• Resend delivers the form to our inbox as an email.
• Google Workspace hosts the inbox at contact@computescan.ai, where the email is kept.

Each of them handles the data under its own terms. Nobody else receives it.

How long we keep it

We keep your request, and the email thread that follows, until you ask us to delete it.

How to ask

Write to contact@computescan.ai from the address you used in the form, and say whether you want a copy of what we hold or want it deleted. A person reads every message.
